![]() The violinist with her back to the camera is my cousin. The String Quartet played at both the ceremony and at the cocktail hour at the reception. Although, she didn't "bejewel" hers or have fancy fonts and paper. My cousin who got married a year after me copied my programs almost word-for-word. The greatest form of flattery is imitation. It was a lot of work but so very worth it. We didn't have to hassle with video equipment rentals and it saved us money since it was free to use. ![]() We took advantage of the video screens and played our slideshow prior to the ceremony while the guests arrived. It was just newly renovated with new lighting, seating, high-definition screen and sound. The wedding ceremony was performed at the Peninsula Community Church in Rancho Palos Verdes, my family's church. The other groomsmen, my dad and my husband's dad rented their tuxes from After Hours Formalwear which is now MW Tux. The Hugo Boss store had excellent service and they provide alterations for life for their suits. All in all, the price was about the same as my dress, so I can't complain. It was more economical for them to buy since both the Bestman and my husband were getting married 5 months apart and wanted to own their own tuxes at both weddings. My husband and his Bestman (second from the left) bought their tuxedoes from the Hugo Boss store in Beverly Hills. I bought size 12 dresses for a 8 and 10 year old and the dresses were about 2 inches too tight and about 10 inches too long. As you can see, they are not fat, but, the dresses were way too tight. The dresses didn't fit right and had to be altered a great deal for them to fit my nieces. I, however, do not recommend Eden Bridal for dresses. They have excellent customer service and great prices. The Junior Bridesmaids dresses are Eden Bridal dresses that I purchased from Netbride. All you need to do is to google "ann taylor coupon" and there are usually a couple of coupons available. Also, I used an online coupon code for an addition 15% to 20% off. I bought each dress for $100 and the good thing is that you can return them if the sizes don't work. The bridesmaids dresses were from the Ann Taylor Celebrations line. The initial is actually a Christmas ornament that I bought online. I had my florist added this crystal initial to my bouquet. For the best prices for Swarovski crystals, go to Bohemian Crystals in Downtown LA located on 812 Maple Avenue. I added Swarovski crystals to the bottom of my shoes. I had the lady at the outlet changed the plastic comb for a metal one since my hairdresser told me that metal combs stay in place better than plastic especially for asian hair. It was a plain-edge, double layer, fingertip length veil with a metal comb. My veil was from the Erica Koesler Outlet, located in North Hollywood. ![]() I really wanted to try a dress from the Fall 2006 line ( I bought my dress in the Fall of 2006), but, there weren't any samples in the stores yet and I really wanted buy a dress and check one of the many things off of my list to do. The dress I chose was a Casablanca dress from fall 2005 line. I also didn't want to break the bank by buying a dress that I would only wear once. I wanted a dress that was simple and with traditional touches. There are tons of broaches during that time of year, so if you look for them then, you'll get some great deals. The hairpin was broach I found at Macy's for about $10 around Christmas time. The earrings and pearl bracelet I wore were gifts from my husband-to-be. I wore a pearl necklace given to me by my mother-in-law. They faded, but, I can still see them in the pictures. I swim year-round so I made sure to stop swimming during the daylight hours months prior to my wedding. I don't know if you can see them, but, I have tanlines from my bathing suit. I got ready at my parent's house with the help of my Maid of Honor and Bridesmaids.
